He was a great artist and I considered him a friend.
He had so much talent and potential in a number of different facets, his books/film scripts he showed me were brilliant too and was blown away when I heard them. He was passionate about what he did, he put his heart, soul and mind into his music. He had a love of lyricism and self expression and could talk in depth about his music and lyrics for hours endlessly. As with many great artists, he was a troubled/tortured soul, I think he would have said that himself as would anybody who truly knew him, plus you could hear it littered throughout his music. Whenever he needed to reach out made it a point to always be there as soon as possible and always let him know he could speak to me and to please do if he ever needed anything at all, even if it was just to talk. Had love for him, wanted to see him overcome his issues but it must have got too much for him and think he may have struggled to reach out to people as much anymore and bottled things up. If there is anything that can be learnt and taken from this I hope 1 of them is that people should reach out to loved ones/those that care about them if they are struggling. To do so is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength. I hope Konphlicted will live on through the music he did do, his EP Ready was classic in my book. We also made some dope music with him, at some point will try to put those songs out. Sincere and deepest condolences to all of his family, friends, peers and fans. They are in our thoughts and prayers. I will remember Konphlicted as a great artist who left far too soon, as he had so much more to offer. I hope he is at peace… So Gone - Rowston
